IROS 2011 - Robotics Demonstration Symposium

IROS 2011 will celebrate the last 50 years of robotics with a series of special symposia. As part of this event, we are organizing a robotics demonstration showcase to highlight advances in real-world robotics systems.
Robotics Demonstration Symposium
The field of robotics is moving towards deploying real-world robotic systems. To showcase and benchmark the state of the art in the deployment of such systems, this symposium track will showcase the best of live research demonstrations. The demonstrations will take place in the Exhibits hall, where a number of manufacturer-provided hardware platforms will be available, as well as hardware brought by demonstrators.
Symposium presenters will be selected from the accepted demonstrators - see http://www.iros2011.org/callfordemos for submission information on demonstrations. Each presenter will be allocated 5 minutes to spotlight their work, followed by demonstrations in the Exhibits hall.
The schedule for the symposium will be posted here after acceptance.
